Marketing and Communications


OEL is active on all major social platforms, which we use to communicate industry and Membership news. We also publish and share our e-newsletter with Members every week. Our Member Portal hosts more news, upcoming events, and key resources for apprentices and contractors alike.

Committees and Community

The OEL Contractor Committee meets monthly to address issues that affect our Members. These include, but are not limited to: Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) rates, and Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) code changes & regulations, Ontario Provincial Code Committee (OPCC), Contractor Advisory Council (CoAC), and Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) issues.

News and Resources

The OEL Member Portal shares current news, events, and resources. You’ll also find details on Membership benefits and promotions. Some of the more useful resources hosted in the Member Portal are the OEL Rate Calculator, OEL Job Board, and the Labour Rate Guide, which is updated yearly.
